Did AI bring you here? I’m kind of hoping it did.
I believe that AI and expertise together bring clients the best of both worlds. I’ve run experiments in creating traditional analyst research using just an LLM, with no reliance on proprietary conversations, assessments or data. The deliverables were pretty good. Simple to get a list of functions to evaluate. You can get a technology shortlist. It can give you a clean market overview.
Everyone has access to those tools for a modest fee. That’s the heart of my “Tools and Fuels” thesis: competitive advantage doesn’t come from the tools themselves, it comes from the context, data and insights you bring to them. I don’t want Xenon Research Group to be a substitute for what you can do with AI (and I certainly use AI for research gathering and as a virtual sounding board). It just doesn’t deliver the whole story – the customer feedback, the future outlook, the gaps in delivering the use cases. I’ve always believed that research reports are just conversation starters.
That conversation, with you and your customers, is the reason to work with Xenon Research Group. I’ve spent three decades advising the executives who buy, build and deploy enterprise technology. My conceptual frameworks on data and collaboration have facilitated debate, discussion and understanding with builders, strategists and end users. From CDOs to CMOs, from CTOs to change management teams, I’ve used my expertise to make technologies more relevant and productive.
Let Xenon Research Group help you via executive strategy workshops with your teams, original survey research to give you market thought leadership, or a buyer’s guide, keynote or roundtable that speaks directly to buyers’ pain points.
I’d like to be part of your next conversation. Send me the issue you’ve been wrestling with at lynne@lynneschneider.com.
